Division L invites for Speaker to trainer workshop

Speaker to trainer workshop

Division L is pleased to invite you for “ Speaker to trainer workshop” on Friday, 11^th April 2014 4 PM – 8 PM. Registration starts at 3.30PM . Location NTI, Al Khuwair

Speaker to trainer is a workshop designed to help participants move from being a speaker to an a effective trainer.

Many business and other organizations have realized the importance of training. Properly trained people increase productivity and make few mistakes. Well- trained people can make a difference between successful business or organization, and an unsuccessful one.

So learn how to become an effective trainer from this workshop.

Seats limited to 20 members only.

Session will be conducted by DTM George Thomas

To meet the expenses, a nominal charges of R.O.3/ will be charged from the participant

Photos of humorous club Ha Ha hE hE Ho Ho inaugural session

Ha Ha He He Ho Ho Toastmasters Club, a humorous club, one of its kind in Oman, opened its innings with the inaugural session conducted at Hotel Ananthapuri Restaurant in Darsait.

The meeting was called to order by the SAA TM Praveen Panicker. He then invited the Acting President DTM Srikumar Pai to deliver his Welcome address. He welcomed the audience and opened the session with Laughter Yoga. Then he showed video clipping of humorous sessions and later invited the Baffoon of the day to continue the proceedings.

The Baffoon of the Day, DTM John Valiath entertained the audience dressing up like a clown and cracking jokes. All the clowns continued laughed for some time. He introduced the role players : cartoonist, Tick-Tick Master and the Ring Master.

He then called upon the Estimator of the first speech, TM Praveen Panicker to explain the criteria of the speech.

Loudspeaker 1, TM Shyamala gave a speech of 5-7 minutes , from the Advanced Communication Manual Humorously speaking, Project 1. Her speech title was BOSS IS ALWAYS RIGHT !!!!! It was a stress buster, gave a few tips to the normal employees of a company about how anyone should behave to prove that the Bosses are always right.She was given a round of applause.

The Baffon of the Day then introduced the second Estimator of the speech, TM Cyprian Misquith.The estimator explained the criteria in a very humorous manner kept the audience laughing.

The second speaker was DTM Gurbinder Punn. He delivered the Ice Breaker speech but everybody was bursting with laughter. His speech was Project 1 from the Basic Manual .The audience could know about him and his life better than before. He was given a thunderous round of applause by the audience.

Next was the Tall Tales session conducted by TM Jayakrishnan, about monkeys and human beings.

Everyone enjoyed the segment very much. Then came the Humour video clips & quiz segment which was handled by the most respected cartoonist DTM Srikumar Pai.

The next segment was conducted by the Ring Master DTM George Thomas.

Both the Estimators gave fruitful and constructive feedback for the loudspeakers.

Then he called upon the Tick-Tick master TM Sunil Kumar Ravi for an overall report on Timing.

The Ring Master cracked some jokes to make the audience laugh and then gave his report of the session.

Finally the Acting President took over the control, gave a rough agenda for the next session on 3^rd April, thanked everyone and adjourned the session at 10:00pm.

There will be only one meeting per month. First Thursday of every month at Khimji Training Institute, Darseit
Membership fees R.O.20 ( Six months ) + R.O.5 registration
Toastmasters manuals are used but to be presented in a in a humorous way
