Dear Leaders,
At the outset, my heartiest congratulations to all the winners of our club at the Area Contest! TM Raveendran, TM Nathakumar, TM Negi and TM Nayak: We are proud of you and appreciate your glorious achievement. Best wishes to the first and second place winners to cross the Division level and beyond.
I am pleased to inform you that our Immediate Past Area Governor, TM Srikumar Pai has developed a new blog-site for the exclusive use of Khimji Toastmasters. TM Pai has put in a lot of efforts in developing this simple, yet very effective blog-site. Before I proceed further on this mail, let me first express our sincere gratitude to TM Srikumar Pai for this great job.
Our new blog site’s URL is http://khimjitm.wordpress.com .
It is an interactive platform for all the members of our club. With immediate effect we all will be exchanging our communication through this blog site. Following are the major highlights of this blog-site.
· VP-Education can communicate the next week’s role players by posting it in the allocated link.
· All members can respond to VP-E and TMOD by posting their comments.
· Word Master can post the new word in the space provided
· After every session, VP-M will update the Best Speaker, Best Evaluator and Best Table Topics Speaker in the relevant space provided.
· After every session, Table Topic Master can post all the table topics for our future reference.
· After every session, General Evaluator will prepare a brief report [as General Evaluator will anyway be presenting his report in every session]. Such brief report can be sent to our VP-Membership or one of our Editorial Committee members, TM KV Shreeraman. Both of them have kindly consented to refine it and post it in our site.
· Treasurer can intimate the members for renewal of subscription.
TM Srikumar Pai will shortly, most likely in the coming session, conduct an awareness program for effectively utilizing this site.
I would urge all of you to please visit this blog-site, kindly get yourselves familiarized with the usage and reap maximum benefits out of this site. The site is currently in the testing phase. TM Pai has kindly advised all of us to provide our feedback, which will enable him to fine-tune the look and feel of the site.
